Alien Legion

Recently I have been reading the Dark Horse reprints of Alien Legion and have truly been enjoying them. I ordered BASH Sci-Fi to see if I could put together some games within the Alien Legion universe, which is a bit like the French Foreign Legion mashed with Star Trek's Federation, though with a greater diversity of peoples, more like that seen within Star Wars. The game does seem made for the job. Has anyone already put together Alien Legion material for BASH Sci-Fi?

Here's some information on the series if you're not familiar with it:

Oh, I haven't thought about Alien Legion in a long time. I wonder if I still have any of them down in the basement. Unfortunately, I do not have BASH Sci Fi yet, so I can't help there. Good luck, though, and please post material or ask questions, I know there are others who know a lot more about Bash Sci-Fi on here.

Not for BASH Sci-Fi, but I vaguely recall having notes somewhere about someone's attempt to do an Alien Legion RPG supplement.

I'll see what I can dig up.

Oh, and AL was one of my favorite books, so I'm right there with you.

They have been reprinting Alien Legion in TPB recently. It would be great fodder for a game.
FOOTSLOGGERS AND SOLDIERS OF FORTUNE, PRIESTS, POETS, KILLERS AND CADS. THE FORGOTTEN AND UNWANTED FROM THE SENTIENT RACES OF THREE GALAXIES ARE BROUGHT TOGETHER AND TRAINED TO BE THE MOST ELITE - AND EXPENDABLE - OF FIGHTING FORCES

Ah, found it. There's been a couple of guys that did some conversions for Hero Games. There's a PDF here, and some Word docs in a zip file here.

Hope that helps!

Thanks! I got the PDF to open. (The MS Word files are so old my version of Word will not open them.) The author did a great job of summing things within the series up. Now I need my copy of Bash Sci-Fi to come so I can see how to use this great find.

I had the same problem with the Word files. I haven't had the chance of throwing them at OpenOffice to see if it can do the trick.

Glad some of it helped, at least. I'd love to see what you come up with. :)
