Megapolis: YEAR 2 Meta-Plot & Timeline

Okay, so what are some things you'd like to see happen in the Megapolis: YEAR 2 metaplot/timeline?

For those familiar with the first Megapolis, there were 2 major events- the Invasion from Dimension Zero, and the Doppleganger War (and the build-up to it).

Some impact that these events will have is Fortune Incorperated being pardoned. I was thinking YEAR 2's timeline would feature them trying to track down the real culprit & find out who framed them so they can be exhonerated, rather than merely pardoned.

Dr. Amber Blackstone also begins dating Masque from Fortune Inc.

What are some Major events you want to see, or some developments you'd like for your favorite Megapolis characters?

Off the top of my head I recall two of the plot ideas that jumped out at me when I read Megapolis.

The first would be to have some events revolving around the backers of Project Valor. Maybe tie it in to Liberty Belle's graduation (I think she should be a senior now, if I got her timeline correct), and use it as a way to demonstrate what happens to Valiant next.

Also, while it is certainly good news for the citizens of Megapolis, the (almost) unbroken record of no breakouts from Super Lock isn't so good for Narrators or players who like recurring villains (or want to do something with the NPC prisoners in the book). Sure, they can escape while not in prison (out at the courthouse for a legal proceeding or whatever), but there's a limit to how often that can be used. What about a mass prison break, probably with outside help (maybe someone with the gateway power). Maybe some villain(s) need the help of a prisoner who's in Super Lock, and they stage a breakout (letting lots of others out too, to help cover up the real goal). As the PCs get involved tracking down the escapees, it lets the NPCs from the book see some use, gives a reason for the return of some villains the PCs have put away, and also presents a new mystery for them to solve involving the real situation.

I know I had others, the setting prompted a lot of ideas when I read it, but I'll have to go back and take a new look to remember them.

this might be two far afield but maybe some place by place descriptions for the fantasy verse and perhaps some characters villains and heroes who operate in both worlds
this seems confusing i mean for example whats the prison like in Arcadia .
what would happen to metropolises city hall if someone burned arcades equivalent building

Don't forget- a LOT of Villains were released during the Invasion of Dimension Zero thing (the Earth needed all the help it could get).

Thanks, I had forgotten that. Still, there is a different "feel" between the two scenarios, a prison break has very different implications than a mass pardon, and I think it sets a useful precedent (OOC, if not IC :)). But it is just an idea, and may not fit the direction you are going.

A big prison break isn't a bad idea. Plenty of Villains got sent back to SuperLock between Dimension Zero and the end of YEAR 1, too- so there'd be a good chance for a story.

What I'd need to think of is why the prison break happens & who orchestrates it & aids from the outside.

Since their "Expert Fugatives" Fortune Inc might be hired by the Gov to hunt them down (oh yeah, I was thinking that the Gov would offer them their old jobs back, to which they'd say "no way" since they feel they got sold down the river by all their superiors, etc, and it was the government that put them in prison in the first place for a crime they didn't do.
