WaylanderPK's Builds
Hi , long time Roleplayer, have only just picked up BASH. So I thought I'd give a go at converting some of my old Champions characters over.

Rampage
Here's Rampage - a Hulk type clone with a penchant for the lime light.
His back story involves a rogue High School professor and a nuclear explosion that gives him his powers.

Re: Rampage
Cool character!
Seems like fun to play! I'm an old-time Champions player myself, so I love to see conversions like this.
Anyhoo - the build looks solid. I think you paid 1 pt. more for powers than you should have. (You say 13 points, but I'm only counting 12 points.)
Also, I think you forgot to factor his Weakness into the final cost for the character. This should give you 3 more points to play with, if you need to - assuming you want to keep him at 27 points.
Anyway, welcome to the BASH community!
Best,
Dragonfly

Thanks, Your right - my maths is way off - I'll probably keep the weakness , spend two points and keep him at 27pts. In fact I'm going to do that right now

Darkstar
Here's the 1st Champions Character I ever built.
Dr Lee Stanley was a brilliant scientist, experimenting in exotic star materials when a terrible lab explosion left him all but dead. In the months following his rehabilitation was remarkable and he discovered he had been some how imbued with power of the stars themselves. Determined to use his new found gifts for good and the advancement of science he became the hero Darkstar.

Hey WaylanderPK,
I'm so loving these builds. I know that they aren't Champions Universe characters as such, but they FEEL like old Champions characters for some reason, and that takes me back.
I'm an old time Champions player myself. It was my game of choice from 1984 - 2000 or so. Were you ever into the actual Champions Universe?
Anyway, my favorite of your builds is Darkstar. Simple, but cool and versatile concept! Keep 'em coming!
Best,
Dragonfly

Thanks for the feed back guys.
@Dragonfly
I was a big time D&D player back in the 80's, didn't get into Champions ntil Uni (about 91). We played for a good number of years beofre our GM Burnt out and I took over.
I tried to run Champions for my current group, but the Speed rules and slowness of combat sucked - Right now I'm GM mongoose Traveller for my Friday Group. On Sundays I have regular game where we rotate GMs and Systems about every couple of months. I'll be up soon and I'm going to run BASH.
I'm also a big fan of Pulp fiction and Golden/Silver Age comics - which might explain some of the old school feel to my build s:)

First, I like your builds, pictures and energy. Keep it up.
A comment on your Zodiac build. Your "Wards of an-sha" looks like a multi-power. I would highly recommend picking a couple of these powers and start them with Casting and keep them out of a multi-power. Attacks are great in multi-powers, because you can usually only make one attack at a time. Multiple attack multi-powers are clever, because it allows you to maintain certain attack effects while starting new ones.
However, base defenses are very limiting inside multi-powers, because you have to pick the best one each page. If you are facing multiple opponents or an equally flexible opponent as yourself, you will likely leave yourself very open to getting creamed.
Another tricky cost effective way is to buy one really expensive defensive power and link another one to it for 2 points. The down side is they both must be up at the same time. So if you're linked to a Force Field that gets taken down, your other power drops too. Also, you are limited to only two defensive powers for those points. This actually can be more limiting for you, because you can buy a lot of 1 point defenses with the casting limitation making them 2 active points each (in Champions terms).
My two cents
cheers
