Rampage

Rampage is the son of Betty Ross and Maj. Glenn Talbot. When Betty was pregnant, she was concerned that the gamma energy she'd been exposed to during the accident that created the Hulk would negatively affect her pregnancy. Reed Richards developed a treatment saturated with cosmic energy which he hoped would protect Betty's fetus. At first it seemed to have worked, but as the boy entered puberty, it was clear he had inherited some unique mutagenic abilities....

Based on a friend's suggestion, this pic is being used to represent an older Marvel FASERIP character named Eklipse, the son of Nightcrawler. In the comic X-Men: Manifest Destiny: Nightcrawler, Kurt Wagner has a fling with a girl named Mara Keller. In our MC2 inspired game, this resulted in a child who inherited some of his father's abilities...

Wildstar

Wildstar is the link to our previous MC2 campaign. She's a mutant who was originally a member of the Future Force, but now serves as a member of A-West too. (If Wolverine can be on every single team in the Marvel Universe, Wildstar can be on two. ;) In any event, her colors have been tweaked so as not to clash with Rampage. :) )

The new team's prospective nemesis, Doctor Abyss. He's the son of a human woman who was impregnated in a dark ceremony by a Cthulhu cult.

Very nice. Sort of a "Marvel: The Next Generation". I like it.

Nice!

These are some nifty ideas. I especially like Rampage. Keep up the great work!

Thanks! The MC2 universe makes for fun games, because it's in the future from the generational point of view, but it's also retro in that it takes place 15 years ago. :)

Quick Draw

by fairytalejedi
Quick Draw is another character who's appeared in some Future Force games, but not as a member of the team. He's a Hollywood stuntman who moonlights as a crime fighter. I've done him a little differently than other BASH! archer examples I've looked at, such as incorporating multiple attacks into his variable Special Attack, and not loading him down with points, but letting him use Gadgeteer instead to pull out other kinds of trick arrows as needed. Also, I haven't given him the ammo limitation as it just didn't work with folding everything into one power. It's boring to keep track of ammo anyway. ;)

Quick Draw
Blake Stanton

Brawn x2, Agility x2, Mind x2
Soak x2, Defense x2, Mental Defense x2

POWERS:

Marksman: Boost Agility 2 (for bow & arrow attacks) = 2 pts

Sharp-Eyed: Keen Senses (vision) = 1 pt
Stuntman: Skillful 2 = 2 pts
Bow & Arrow Combat: Special Attack 5 [variable; limitation: bow is an easily taken gadget] = 5 pts
— Boxing Glove Arrow: x4 hit, x7 dmg, 5 sq range
— Explosive Arrow: x5 dmg, 25 sq range, small burst
— Rapid Fire Barrage: x5 hit, x4 dmg, 20 sq range, small arc
— Regular Arrows: x6 hit, x3 dmg, 30 sq range

SKILLS: Athletics x3 (Acrobatics, Climbing), Drive x3 (Tricks), Investigation x2 (Questioning), Ride x2 (Tricks), Streetwise x2 (Gather Information)

ADVANTAGES: Appeal, Gadgeteer (trick arrows), Membership (A-West)

DISADVANTAGE: Normal

MENTAL MALFUNCTION: Thrill-seeking danger junkie

25 points (12 stats, 11 powers, 3 advantages, -1 disadvantage)
