For what it's worth, BTW, I kind of like the original Lady America better as well. But I've always been a fan of the low-powered heroes (Black Panther rocks! ). :)

Well I think you both have a point about the Cap - Super Strength thing, which of course also proves my point. By having her wrapped in the flag and with martial arts, she will always been seen as Cap with *. Which is what is driving me to change her.

That said, making her patriotic Supergirl isn't so great either, or a More American Wonder Woman...

The character feels a bit stale to me is all.

Gah... and while I do see Disease and Illness as very different things, I like the suggestion of swapping one of the them for Poison... heh.... * Brett Michaels. ;)

Maybe do something more distinct then, rather than an homage? What was she in her original incarnation? I was a little unclear in your other post about whether she started as a CoH scrapper, or had been a flying brick first.

I'd go back to basics, then add something unique. So if it is flying brick, maybe avoid the x-ray vision and eye beams (which were the one part that jumped out at me as most derivative, not that that is bad). Instead, maybe play up the Infinity Serum / unaging. How does that work? Is it just giving her a super-efficient metabolism, so maybe some Healing or maybe a Boost with some limitation like burn-out, so it feels like a real power-up mode (ie a separate power, not always on).

Alternatively, maybe the Infinity Serum is actually giving her some form of time stasis, preventing her from aging. Maybe she has some limited Time Mastery or some such; able to slow down those around her or speed herself up (a combo of Slow and Super Speed maybe).

Apply something unique, even just a single kind of signature ability, to either the martial artist or flying brick build, and it might feel a little fresher. (Flying brick still feels to me like a better base template for your iconic character, but that will just be my personal preference.)

Just a thought...

Okay, I love both of them! Very nice!!!

One quibble: I think you are two points off on Red Guard. Each of the powers on his offensive multipower are from separate categories, so by RAW they'd be 2 pts per extra slot instead of just 1.

I think the limitation on each of them reduces the cost. I copied the power directly from the Star Sentinel in the book;
Offensive Multi-power; 6pts
Source Energy Attack: Special Attack • 4 [Enhancement: Variable, Limitation: No effect on the Anti-Source]
Telekinesis 5 [Limitation: No • effect on the Anti-Source]
Conjuration 5 [Limitation: All things • made of the Power Source

Hmmm. I wonder if that should be an errata candidate? My understanding is that a limitation on the power in a multipower slot affects the cost of the power itself (which is why this example can have Telekinesis 5 and Conjuration 5 in a 4 pt multipower), not to the actual points paid for the slot. Bashman, any clarification?

Lindharin- looks like you did catch something for the Errata section.

However, in the Awesome Powers book, it will say that any power from the same Suite counts as if they are in the same category for Multi-Powers (but that's not out yet).

I have adjusted Krasnuy Karaul to reflect the proper cost of 8 for his Multipower and removed Omni-Linguist (really not a power he needs) to keep him at 40 points :)

I am not sure about the Special Attack linked with Push. Also I need to buy him Ricochet I think as well, but wanted make sure the Push link was right first, so I may rebuild him.
