The Professor is an arch-enemy of the Global Guardians, and a rival for Ctrl-Alt-Delete and Dr. D-Structo in taking over the world, and has been one of the penultimate villains for decades.

Raised in isolation by the Order of the Black Rose, Coven showed great promise as an artificer. However, Coven grew tired of their hidebound loathing of technology and left in disgust. Coven's plans are to build up her base and powers and usually involves stealing some rare components she needs for a new spell or item.
Coven is a master artificer, creating items of magical power to assist her, and is fond of summoning creatures to fight her enemies for her. Coven always has at least one golem with her (sidekick). She also has a level of omnipotence allowing her to cast any low level spell she needs (such as immunity to a hero's favorite method of attack) in the middle of combat or enhancing one of the powers she already has.

Gargoyle 5 pt Summon
B3 A3 M1
10 Hits/30 soak
Attack 21 Defend 21
Armor 3 (X6 Soak), Flight 2, Immunity (Suffocation), Claws +1 DM Special Attack (X4 DM)
Golem: Sidekick
Brawn 4 Agility 1 Mind 1 (3/0) 30 pts.
Powers:
Coven's Blessing: Agility Boost +3 all attacks 3 pts, Clinging 1 pt, Growing 3 pts, Mimic 3, Gateway (Teleport 2) 3 pts, Armor 3 linked to Immunity 3 (Attack Weak Point, Knockback, Suffocation) =5 pts,
Weakness: X2 Iron (not including steel)
Skills: Athletics/Climbing, Occultism/Rituals
Advantages: Immortality, Non-Sentience
Disadvantages: Freak, Outsider, Public ID, Social Stigma
Mental Malfunction: Obeys Coven

Coven's Sanctum
Powers: Crystal Ball (Clairvoyance 3), Stealth (Invisibility 1), Psionic Defenses (Mind Shield 1), Auto-Doc (Healing 2), Holding Cells (Nullify 3), Protection (Force Field 1), Summoning 4, Omnipotence 5
Advantages: Heavily Defended, Library, Mental Amplifier, Staff
Disadvantages: Fixer-Upper

And another member of the Global Guardians' Rogue's Gallery: Marauder. Marauder started as a personal enemy for Patchwork, but after being defeated by Patchwork and other members of the Global Guardians, he now works with a number of other super villains who also hate the Guardians.
This Rogue's Gallery includes: Actusia, Blitz, Persuasion, Delusion, Dark Liege, Knight of Blood, Rat *, Mancer, Lt. Louisa (The Amazon), Superior, System Crash, Torment, and Tracks.

Marauder's Headquarters
Advantages: Laboratory, Library, Super Computer, Workshop
Disadvantages: Fixer-Upper
Powers: Animate Robots 2, Auto-Doc (Healing 2 Works on Machines, Restore 2), Hologram Generators (Illusion 3), Psionic Defenses (Mind Shield 2), Sensors (X-Ray Vision), View Screen (Omni Linguist, Omni Reader)

Persuasion and Delusion, 2 of the world's most powerful psionicists for the Global Guardians' Rogue's Gallery. Persuasion can convince anyone to do what she wants, and Delusion who can create illusions so convincing that they are real.
This deadly duo were engineered (employed modified psionicist enhancing serums on 2 pregnant sisters with great psychic potential) by one of the most menacing mastermind mentalists of the 20th century, The MasterMind. Unfortunately, The MasterMind made a minor error in that he was not properly prepared for the two psionicists to be so powerful that he could not control them.
Now while Persuasion and Delusion engage in super crime, they are on the run from not only the Global Guardians, but the Mastermind and his menacing metahumans with their extraordinary enhancements as well.

Tracks is powerful enough (40 points) to rate as an arch-enemy against the Guardians.
In addition to the normal speedster tricks, Tracks also has martial training and weapon technique.
One of Tracks' favorite techniques is to suddenly appear (teleport 100 sq) near groups of minions and then treat minions as a pinball machine crushing them as he bounces back and forth. This often counts as a surprise attack due to his high stealth and the previously mentioned 100 sq range.

Updated Coven and added Rat *.
Where the Rat King came from is a complete mystery. No one is sure if he is a random genetic mutation, or an experiment gone worng, or even an experiment gone right. What is known is that Rat * will settle for nothing less than the entire world. While his goals might normally seem laughable for a 4 foot rat, it doesn't seem that way when you're facing him and his swarms of rats that can eat through tanks.
One of Rat *'s scariest powers are the swarms of giant rats he controls that can destroy anything in their path (damage aura 5). With his shrinking power, he often hides himself in one of the swarms, becoming very difficult to track down.
However, his powers are not limited to just rats. The Rat King can communicate and control any animal he encounters, and enjoys throwing in a large cat to surprise his opponents. Rat * also is a mad genius and can use his mastery of gadgets power to build any doomsday weapon he needs.

Hey Michael. That's quite a cool batch of characters that you have there (especially Coven and Tracks). Your concept for Rat * is great but I have a hesitation to the character's name. The idea for the character is really cool but the name selection really makes the concept feel like pun in the same way that the similarly named Fat * from the Austin Powers movie series. But that whole movie series is a comedy spoof and so that character fits well, while the rest of your characters fit a more serious tone.
However, if you are trying to play off the fact that the character has no legitimate father then I can be a little more understanding. Still, I feel like your alternate name, Rat King, really cements this villain into a short, but reputable standing amongst the other foes in your cast. Please consider this, ‘cause I really like this little furry opponent!
Thanks

There is a series of flash-based programs at the Fabrica de Herois site. Just below the 4 templates shown you will see four options. It takes a little while to figure them out (because they are in Portugese) but they do a great job of creating super hero images.
The easiest one to start with is the "Animated" which produces a Bruce Timm style character. You really need to make about five or six characters with these before you really get the hang of it (well only about three with the "animated" one).

Oh. Sorry, I wasn't clear. I'm not interested in the art. I can create my own. I'm interested in how you got those character sheets to come out that way. I have the amazing bash builder, but it doesn't seem to output quite like that.MrJupiter wrote:There is a series of flash-based programs at the Fabrica de Herois site. My appologies Storn. I'm not sure what program Michael was using, and I'll leave it to him to answer that, but I believe that BASHMAN used a program called COMIC LIFE from a company called Plasq to put together similarly styled sheets.
http://plasq.com/products/comiclife/win
The basic version is $25 ($30 for the Deluxe). Also, for Macs, there is a far better version.
The neat thing about it is that program is that it has a bunch of font effects (useful for hero names) and the abilty to create comicbook-like word balloons and caption boxes (in many, many styles - useful for stylizing stat blocks, etc.). Really its just a poor man's desktop publishing program. Many others, including myself, have used Open Office-like software. Comic Life is a great program, but it does have its limitations.
I don't mean to hijack this thread so I won't post sample Comic Life pages directly here. Links:

Mr. Jupiter,
Glad you liked Coven and Tracks.
I've been thinking about what you said about the name.
He was originally the King of Rats, but I decided that everyone else called him Rat * instead, the same way Patchwork wanted to be called Mr. Invincible.
Storn,
I do use comic life for the character sheets.
Neat artwork by the way.
And I didn't mind the short thread change
