No, actually I didn't want to look like I was accusing AslanC of being a munchkin.

Zenith Comics Presents: Dragonfly 28/08/10
THAT was confusing! :D

Cool build, AslanC. I'm still around, BTW. Just busy with the start of school.

Best,

I think we've got a bit of confusion here, and perhaps I made a mistake in another thread, but Shrinking doesn't give a Multiplier bonus to Agility, it gives a Dice Bonus (it says so right in the first line of the second paragraph of the description). In the Original Edition of BASH!, Shrinking was a multiplier bonus, but not in BASH! UE.

So you'd have a x5 Agility with a dice bonus equal to however much levels of shrinking are turned on. So if you had 3 levels turned on (ant size) you'd have a +3x5 roll (ave. 50). With Danger Sense, your ave. defense roll would be 70, assuming the guy could SEE you!

However, it isn't all wonderful. It ain't easy being small. With 3 levels in shrinking, you've got -3 Dice Penalty to Brawn, Damage, and Soak rolls.

Btw- like the concept, but to clarify the "Growth Punch" I'd have it say "[Limit: Must turn off shrinking to activate]" which would mean he must start out shrunk, but when he finishes the punch, he's normal size again. PS- the rules say you can "activate a bunch of powers, move, and attack -OR- attack and then move (without activating a bunch of powers) deliberately. That way this guy cannot do his Growth Punch and then immediately shrink again ;-)

Another downside is movement. While at Size -3, you move 6 squares less. So your new Agility of 5x3 = 15-6= 9 squares of movement. Still faster than you can move at full size, on foot though. Your flight would be 20-6= 14 squares.

These downsides of shrinking can be bought off with enhancements, however.

Drone is mostly the Dragonfly build redux.

Also Drone's whole "Libertine" thing is something the player demanded... go figure ;)

Cheers!

Thanks guys!

I think Devil Dog is going to be part of the "main" heroes for the Zenith Universe... you know like the "Champions" in Champions?

Hey, does BASH have a default team?

Nice! Sounds like a fun one shot. I love golden age heroes.

Sunman kinda reminds me of Apollo from the Authority.

Me too.
Sunman kinda reminds me of Apollo from the Authority.
I have never read that. I suppose I should since folks speak highly of it.

It's a good read, at least the first major plot arc. It's definitely not Golden Age, though.

Just wanted to warn you...

Just my opinion, I hated The Authority. They cannot be considered superheroes in any traditional sense of the word. *, they literally destroyed a country to stop a bad guy. Plus individually, they were almost all D-bags. Warren Ellis sucks.

Sorry. Had to get that off my chest. Carry on.

These new characters rock, Aslan. Once there's a few more, I'm going to have to start collating a new collection! :)
