I always built Wolverine with 1 level of Density Increase to represent the adamantine skeleton.

Heightened is an Intense Training power that BASHMAN and I collaborated on. It appeared in BAM #5. My understanding is that it made it to the new printing of BASH UE (out soon through Cubicle 7).

It's a way of granting BASH UE a bit more granularity for Stats. Each rank of Heightened adds a +3 RESULT BONUS to either Brawn, Agility, or Mind. You can buy up to three ranks of the power, but you can't buy it more than once for each Stat.

I like it because it allows me to nuance my heroes a bit more. My Daredevil build can have a Brawn x2, but at Brawn x2+3 my Captain America build is still noticable stronger (as he should be), without having to dip into Brawn x3 range (which would suddenly have him competing with Spider-Man).

Best,

Hey Saker!

I strongly considered that, but my cut-off for that sort of thing was 500 lbs.

Thing, for instance, gets the Density Increase (called Weight on his character sheet) because weighs 500 lbs. Thor does too because he weights 700 lbs., and Hulk gets a level of Size (permanent Growing) because he weights 1,000 lbs. and is over 7' tall and almost as wide. Same with Colossus.

Wolvie and Vision were contenders, but at 300 lbs I left them w/out.

Nice work. I'm not too familiar with the heightened power, but looks useful.

Thanks, Samuraidad!

I'm glad you enjoyed them! I've been away for awhile - working on some stuff for my other favorite superhero game: SUPERS! by Simon Washbourne. Mostly, I've just been replicating these Marvel write-ups (as well as my classic Champions write-ups). I'm just about caught up, and once I am I plan to start doing new write-ups for both SUPERS! and BASH UE in tandem.

Watch this space for more!

Best,

Dragonfly
