Trying to build an old favorite hero in BASH!

Ok, so a character that i have played in past games is a guy called Roach.

He has * like powers, but is also in constant mental communication with every * in a 500 yard radius and can have them do things for him as well as become things like a chair of living roaches or a boat to drive through the sewers....

Any ideas?

Believe it or not, it could be built a lot like a water based character of mine. The two basic powers you're going to want is X Mastery and Conjuration. X Mastery would be Roach Mastery, and since it's very specific you'd get it cheaper with that kind of limitation. Buy conjuration to the level you need it, with the limitation that all items are made of *. Powers like Immobilize and Confusion would work great as well, using your roaches to swarm the target, or just freak them out. You can go the high mind route, or you could just take a Mind of two, and use Boost Mind power for use with * powers.

Maybe also Clairvoyance: Present if he can "see" through the roaches. But Boost nailed it, I think.

I'd go with X Mastery of 3+ and have a limitation if you want it restricted to 500 yards.
