First Character, Did I do something wrong?

Hey so I know it's probably typical of me to use the forums for the first time to see if my hero is done right.

Concept: Former MMA champion with monk like training, lost family to evil corporation and now has a vendetta. My 2 favorite heroes are Nightwing and Iron Fist. This character really is a mix. moves like Nightwing but fights like Iron Fist. Narrator set 30 point game. I did 31 pts for Skillful.

You could save a lot of points by dropping the 'Normal' disad, so you won't need Esoteric Training.

You also have too many Mental skills. With a Mind of 1 you get 1 Mental Skill at x1, aside from the one from Skillful. I'd use the point savings on Esoteric Training to raise Mind to 2.

Thanks. I talked to my narrator and he said we could drop the Esoteric Training and stay normal. The argument is that some normal people can do these things. So I spent 1 of the 2 points on Skillful for one of the mental skills I had extra and a +1 in Escapology.
