Saker's builds

Post by Saker »

Dr. George James Sinclair arrived in Centropolis in 1973 to become an interim professor of history and comparative religions at the prestigious University of Centropolis. The vacancy was created by the death of an old friend who was secretly the mentor of Arcana from the Original Centurions. Dr. Sinclair who was already a professor emeritus of Oxford University and effectively retired at the time replaced his old friend at one of his last requests. Dr. Sinclair continued mentoring Arcana until her departure for her last adventure. Three years ago, the media identified him as a hero when one of the local gangs summoned something from the very depths of hells and the fight became very public. Today, his university courses are the most popular, and his brownstone townhouse receives many requests for magical aid.

Secret: Dr. George James Sinclair is actually Scottish anthropologist Sir James George Frazier (1854 - 1941) author of the Golden Bough. The celebrity book made him a relative rogue of the secretive wizard's community. He covered his "death" using a shapeshifting spell and the chaos of the war to change his identity to a young Sinclair. He never admits his age, but his official documents average it around 70. While certainly not immortal, his dedicated practice of the magical arts have extended his life expentecy by a couple centuries.

Is that how the multipower works? Plus 2 every different type? I thought it was only +2 once then +1 for additional.

I think that by the book it is +1 per extra power in the same category, and +2 per extra power in a different category.

I have toyed with the idea of having it be just +1 per extra power, plus an extra +1 per extra category, so if you had multiple powers from a second category, you'd only pay the "category tax" once.

Of course, the new book Bashman is working on is going to change that a bit, by defining thematic collections of powers, and powers that share a theme will apparently have a cost of +1 per multipower slot, regardless of their categories. But that isn't out yet and we don't have all the details on how it will work.

I've been watching Avenger's Earth Mightiest Heroes and went a little Asgardian lately. Please tell me what you think.

OH Hey, neat! I missed this.
You're using the city me and my pal Karl created for the Megapolis Universe way back when? Neat!

I can't wait to actually get my first "BASH! BOOK" finished laying out to get more of the word out. Love love love Centropolis. :)
Here's links to alot of the info and ideas my pal Karl and I have created for it in case you didn't have it.
