Hmmm... I see some new disads. Would you plan on having them be Bash UE compatible, either officially or optionally?

Optionally, yes- but there is one thing to keep in mind. In Heroic scale, Mental Malfunctions don't exist. Instead there are Disads that are mental in nature- things like Phobias, etc. In BASH! UE, these are just handled like a Mental Malfunction.

Great character Bashman! Zanderin slave galleys and gladiatorial arenas - Legends of Steels sounds like an interesting sword/sorcery setting. I can't wait to see it in print!

I just noticed something, Talents are what might be called Powers in other BASH! products. Is that changing for BASH! Fantasy as well?

Not exactly. Talents are what would be called "Intense Training" powers in BASH! UE. Things like magic, or racial powers, etc would be called "Special Powers" in BASH! Fantasy. Abilities that you just "have" that aren't because of special training are called "Backgrounds".

So for examples:
Sword Technique, Shield Deflect, Footwork = Talents
Skillful, Rank (like, being a Baron), Magic Heirloom = Backgrounds
Special Attack (like Fireball, or Lightning Bolt), Flight, or Toughness (like scaly skin) = Special Powers.

Yes. In the first edition of BASH! Fantasy, they were all just "Powers" with one category being called "Mundane Powers". Now instead, there are Talents and Backgrounds for "mundane powers" while there continues to be Special Powers. The Special Powers are divided into Physical and Magical powers. So a dragon's scales for instance is a Physical power, while it's fire breath is a Magical power.

I definately like how BASH Fantasy is evolving.
