Yuno Scrya
Breakdown: 8 stats + 20 powers = 28 pts
An Archealogical Adventurer at the age of 9, Yuno takes it upon himself one day to retrieve the Jewel Seeds, the monster-forming Lost Logia artifact capable of threatening the entire space-time continuum. Taking Raising Heart, he travels to Earth where the fragments had scattered, but finds himself ill-suited to using the Intelligent Device, capturing only one Jewel Seed before being severely wounded by another. He takes the shape of a ferret to make healing easier, and is found by Nanoha. Desperate, he gives Raising Heart to her and instructs her in its use, and is shocked that she displays a tremendous talent for magic despite having no training. Feeling inadequate for the task of retrieving the Jewel Seeds, Yuno dedicates himself to assisting Nanoha, providing magical support and healing as she blasts her way through one Jewel Seed after another.

One of the few human mages in the entire series not to use an Intelligent Device, Yuno is nonetheless very capable. In fact, I would have made him a Mentor, except those don't adventure with Heroes, so Sidekick it is. Just don’t mistake him for a familiar. As you can tell, he's not much for combat; he has terrible Defense, but a strong Force Field and healing, two powers no other character at this point has. He also uses the Temporal Force Field spell to mask magical activity from mundanes in Nanoha's world, always handy when your most basic attacks leave cracked pavement and caved in walls, and your top spells can level buildings. Another popular combo is for him to snare enemies with his Chain Bind so Nanoha can smack them with her attacks. His only real downside is the Setback he has to deal with being an expensive Sidekick.

Fate Testarossa
"Mother is just a little... Awkward. I can tell how she really feels about me."
Breakdown: 10 stats + 20 powers = 30 pts
Precia Testarossa’s devoted daughter, and victim of her constant abuse, Fate is a girl with a wealth of magical talent and a deep love for the mother who treats her so harshly. Without a friend in the world save her familiar Arf, Fate does her mother’s bidding of retrieving the Jewel Seeds and fights Nanoha out of necessity. Deep down Fate is looking for acceptance, and is prepared to do anything to obtain it.

Mental Malfunction
Make mother happy: Fate believes that despite her Precia’s cruelty, she truly cares for her and is only giving tough love. This Mental Malfunction will ultimately break down by the end of the season when she finds out in no uncertain words exactly who she is and how much her mother despises her.
Other Attacks
Arc Sabre: Mid Range, x5 dmg
Photon Lancer: Mid Range, Small Burst, x4 dmg
Scythe Slash: +1 hit, x5 dmg
Thunder Rage: Close Range, Small Burst, x5 dmg
Thunder Smasher: Med. Line, x5 dmg
Compared to Nanoha, Fate is much more agile, though not as good in the air. She excels at close-range combat, preferring to strike fast and true, and has a hard time dealing a lot of damage all at once. Her speed and agility only go up from here, though her toughness falls behind as a result. All in all, I like her; she’s a very sympathetic character when she’s a rival, and doesn’t lose any appeal when she becomes a good guy. Oh, and her Intelligent Device Bardiche calls her “Sir.” Awesome. ^_^
Bonus: Nanoha sees Fate off at the 1st season's conclusion, and their friendship is vindicated. Warning: may cause cavities due to excessive sweetness.

Arf
Breakdown: 12 stats + 15 powers = 27 pts
By empowering a loyal animal with a hefty amount of their own magical might, a mage can create a familiar; a shapeshifting companion who can assume human and animal hybrid forms. As Fate’s familiar, Arf is extremely loyal, and will go to any lengths to protect her. She fears Precia above all else, in no small part due to the power she wields over Fate, and is as unable to escape it as her master.

Skills
Athletics (Acrobatics, Running), Stealth (Hiding), Streetwise (Gut)
Advantages
Never Surrender
Disadvantages
On the Run
Wolf Form
Brawn 1 Agility 3, Super Running 2
In the Nanohaverse, familiars tend to be physical support fighters, able to achieve superhuman base stats unlike mages. Arf is a little more flexible than Yuno in exchange for having less unique abilities, able to swap her stats around a bit with shapeshifting if she needs to hit hard, though rarely would she pump either Brawn or Agility to 4; that level of power just isn’t present until later in the series.
I intend to revisit this conversion down the road, with new characters and updated stats for Nanoha A’s, and even more for Nanoha StrikerS.
Also, I’m accepting conversion recommendations again, so if you have any requests, feel free to voice them.

Or, as they might say in Japan: GATCHAMAN !!!therealtony wrote:G-FORCE!!!! G-FORCE!!!!!!
My friends and I used run around the neighborhood playing G-Force. I pretended I was PRINCE - Princess' brother (yeah, I'm not to proud of that but all the other characters were taken... )
Still, I 'd love to see stats on these guys. I would be nostalgic fun to run a campaign along these lines!
