Re: Awesome Package Deal or wait for Omnibus?
Well since this is the entire combined book, it will take a while. The book is going to be close to 300 pages. Currently about 140 pages is finished.

Re: Lifting
So, Awesome Powers does address this question with a specific optional rule. It appeared in Awesome Powers Vol. 12 and will also be appearing in the upcoming Awesome Powers Omnibus book. It has a chart where based on your Brawn, it tells you what you can lift with a specific 2d6 roll. So with a Braw...

Re: Awesome Package Deal or wait for Omnibus?
I have not done a bundle, but that isn't a bad idea. That said, the Omnibus is well under way (it has been sent off to layout) so it might be better to just wait on it.

Re: Tweaking My Favorite System (Dice Pools)
Are you rolling a pile of d12s and counting up the total? Or are you rolling a pile of d6s and counting all the 4-5 as a 'success" and every 6 as 2 successes? If you are doing the pile of d12s method, I think you have a good idea-- if at least half the dice come up a 1 it is a fumble or auto-failure...

Re: Thoughts after a bit of experience
Interesting idea about the cost of Stats-- but I would be sure to make Boost cost 2 points per +1 Multiplier instead of 1:1 in that case.

Re: Awesome Powers 16: Spellcraft
A *VERY* easy "solve" for wanting to use superhero scale powers, but not stats would be to just change the scale for stats. So use the BASH! LoS scaling for Brawn and Agility, but keep using the rules for BASH! UE otherwise. When it comes to adapting a power, you scale it along these lines, too. So ...

I would have to think about it more to make any sort of "official" stance on this-- but if you want to test this out and let us know how it goes, I am curious about the results.

Re: Weapons and Damage
I'm not too confident on the conversion of Heroic-level BASH games with the super heroics of Ultimate Edition, but I don't believe that there would be any major porblems with using the Legends of Steel equipment list for your supers games. I know that Awesome Powers 8 has a great update on melee we...

Re: World of Megapolis, 1935
Well, I've been running it off and on. I had a lot of GM-Burnout towards the end of my last campaign and began this one only under an understanding that it would be done as Rotating Narrators. Each player in the group is supposed to take a turn running a game, and at the most I would do every other ...

Very nifty. I've been running a Golden Age game set in 1935 (off and on) myself for my BASH! games most recently.

Yes, they do get to make a Soak roll (unless they are Minions).
