Re: Awesome Powers Omnibus Now Available!
My congratulations on such a well organized and presented book! There is so much great art packed inside. I can't wait until the POD version becomes available. Thanks, BASHMAN, for your AWESOME perseverance.

Re: Awesome Powers Omnibus Layout + Character Cards
I love the idea of the tented Character Cards that the Narrator can set out before them--especially for villain or key NPC characters. This is especially useful for a PDF product where key characters can be printed out for an encounter and stored away safely in card holders when not needed. Too many...

Re: My Ideas for New Traits
Yes, GADGET SOURCE . That's brilliant! Like Gadgeteer, you come into a game's Issue with an allotment of gadgets already assigned (show up to the table with Narrator-approved devices), as per the advantage predecessor. You then make a call to your resident specialist when your current gear is found ...

Re: My Ideas for New Traits
Interesting, the D20 Amazing Adventures has a Gadgeteer class that has two options, one is the Intelligence based version where you make the Gadgets yourself, another is a Charisma based version where you have someone make gadgets for you. The first option allows you to make changes in the field wh...

Re: Weapons and Damage
I'm not too confident on the conversion of Heroic-level BASH games with the super heroics of Ultimate Edition, but I don't believe that there would be any major porblems with using the Legends of Steel equipment list for your supers games. I know that Awesome Powers 8 has a great update on melee wea...

Re: AP 16: Spellcraft
I hadn't thought of the idea of having multiple, separate Spellcraft powers (as represented by being in possession of more than one arcane spellbook). Previously, I might have given a spell caster the Grimoire advantage and let them tailor the various spells they have available for each game session...

Re: Awesome Powers 16: Spellcraft
I agree. BASH:UE is an excellent choice to play sci-fi and fantasy games. Just keeping CP levels down around the 20-point range gives you a pretty "heroic" level of play and the best part is that it is so much simpler than dealing with the points levels and costs of Hero System or GURPS (admittedly,...

Re: hi new here this was our game last night
Welcome to BASH, paulpiercegt . It sounds like you and your players had a wonderful first game. Great move of starting them with a super patron who both empowers them and trains them (if I read this correctly). I love the idea of a moon base headquarters. I laughed when you had said about your nephe...

This is an outstanding gaming idea and definitely a great way to add meat to the BASH universe! I'm looking forward to seeing how events and stories develop.

Re: Shape-Shifting: A Closer Look
Sijo, great breakdown on the Shape-Shifting power. I love your point about the odd loophole of the power that could technically allow ICE-MONKEY as a Shape-Shifting option. For a good while, I had thought of Shape-Shifting as a sort-of "Omni-Power" ability that allowed a hero to sacrifice Agility or...

Re: My Ideas for New Traits
pawsplay , while I can see your point about substituting some combinations of Armor, Shape-Shifting, Boost, and whatnot with the Density Increase power as a more straightforward means to provide a hardened form that isn't necessarily as massive, I would point out that the mechanics of how that powe...

Re: My Ideas for New Traits
Adventurer: That lowly hero who strives to bring justice where any other normal, sane person would decide that its just not worth it! Lol, this is the absolute lowest rung on the ladder of heroism. Still, 100 Hits, CP free equipment, and advantages does give them quite an edge compared to your typi...
