Two things... first, I think the Metal Empress is going to turn out to be a Street level character... I just can't get her past 25 points without going WAY overboard on stats and powers.

Two, I've changed my avatar today to a picture I use on my Facebook page... it's from me during High School halftime show. Yes, I'm a Tuba Player! Weird, huh?

I've finished (finally) the Metal Empress, and she turned out better than I was beginning to believe I could create her!

Meet the 10 Grand Man, a Paragon of Insincerity:

He’s called the 10 Grand Man now because he was caught accepting money to let a politician he had caught in the act of embezzling go. What he did not know at the time is that the police were also about to burst in on the politician and had caught the transaction on video.

When he had first appeared on the scene, it was during the early days of superheroes, back when there weren't so many. He was dubbed the “Million Dollar Man” by a reporter, and the title had stuck… until the network responsible for the original Six Million Dollar Man television series starring Lee Majors filed a cease and desist order on him. He quickly changed his official moniker to The Million Man(c), and started to gain a very good reputation with the people in the city… until that fateful day.

He still insists that his title is that of Million Man(c), and he refuses to change the double M(c) symbol emblazoned on his chest, but he is widely referred to as 10 Grand Man, or simply 10G by everyone.

His has been an uphill battle to regain the trust of the city, but he's a laughingstock. Even though he has helped the police tremendously ever since “the incident”, and has worked himself harder than ever before to be a true Super Hero, it would take some major deed of daring do, something momentous enough to wipe “the incident” from the collective consciousness of the city, for him to regain his standing.

Today, Million Man(c) is an example of how a Super Hero should be and act. Ever watchful and vigilant, he seeks out crime and injustice with a passion. He secretly hopes to one day have his moment in the sun again, to battle with a major Super Villain in a very public place with lots of television, cell phone, and internet coverage, but that is a secret he will take to his grave; knowledge by the city that he wishes for rampant destruction to rain down on them would surely destroy him once and for all!

Any interactions with the general public go south almost without fail. The police, even now, treat him with suspicion. Ordinary citizens, while not generally brave enough to laugh in his face, treat him as a pariah... although they're always quick about accepting his help when they are in need.

The new mayor is one of the few people who respect Million Man(c) (he's insistent that his name is copyrighted) and treat him as a superhero. Indeed, the mayor is often the one who calls in MM for help when the city is truly in need.

Soon to come: the actual character build, as well as his Arch-Nemesis, the "other" good guy in the city!

Comments Welcome!!
