I just realised there is one thing broken with Captain America, he dosen't have range or ricochet with his shield, surely that’s a given?

Well he has variable on his Star Spangled Shield 4 - I'd just give him small arc, x3DM (Plus Brawn x2 for a thrown attack) for a x5DM attack that can attack any 4 x 1 adjacent squares , or as you say Ricochet. Though his attack is only at x2 (unless I'm missing something), so maybe use his versatile advantage to up his hit multiplier to x4HM, x3DM , Range Close (or Ricochet or Small Arc, even a Small Burst as Required).

Using his supranormal reflexes spiderman reacts with before the star spangled hero. Knowing full well the damage Cap can do with his viburnum shield he throws out a web to try and snatch it away.

Dice Roll - Web for Disarm:
Original Roll String: 2,0,0   =   Mult: 2,   Dice Mod: 0,   Result Mod: 0   
Dice Roll: 5 + 6 = 11 + 0 = 11
Final Result: ( 2 * 11 ) + 0 = 22


{I'm not sure you can deflect TK as its a mental power, but the web special effect is physical, what do you think?}

If I hit you by more than 10 the shield is thrown
Dice Roll:
Original Roll String: 1d6
6-Sided Dice Results: 2
squares in a random direction

If I hit you by more than 20 then I'll have the shield, thank you very much Smile

{Course not much chance of hitting at x2}

I would say deflect would work as it's physically doing something, so same as if you picked up a vase and throw it with telekinesis you could deflect it.

I may well post this in the rules clarification forum.

He had faced this kid before and he knew he needed to get the web shooters out of play.

Hey! Where's the Spidey sarcastic quips? The spectators have high expectations!

Cap is OK to be stoic.

Deflect should work against TK. Variable with area (like arc) and no range on Special Attack can use Brawn instead of Mind for Damage. And the shield returning to Cap is a special effect, so the arc or line area effect can be purely away from Cap.

Just then the Caps shield flashes out, instinctively Spidey tries to dodge

But even his enhanced agility can't beat this throw.

{The web shooters have a number of powers, but the biggest is the multi-power at 5 points, so 50 Soak/100 Hits, unless I'm doing it wrong?}

The shield flies out, bounces off a wall and catches one of the web shooters, put harmless careens off "Good thing you built those things tough Spidey" Spiderman thinks to himself.

"Hey lay off Cap, these things are expensive"

Spidey leaps to the offence, jumping to the roof then launching himself at the Star Spangled Champion {i'm assuming the roof is less than 5 squares high}

Dice Roll - Attack:
Original Roll String: 3,0,0   =   Mult: 3,   Dice Mod: 0,   Result Mod: 0   
Dice Roll: 1 + 3 = 4 + 0 = 4
Final Result: ( 3 * 4 ) + 0 = 12


If he hits

Cap attack 65 - Spidey defense 55 = 10 HIT!

Cap damage 16 - regular gadget soak of 10x4 (40) = no damage of 20x4 (80) total Hits

The shield connects with the web-shooters but doesn't do any damage to render them inoperable.

EDIT: I just noticed the "per level" description. At 40 and 50 Soak that's unobtainium tough! Although I don't remember anyone actually targeting Spidey's web-shooters. They usually just run-out.
