I'm hoping to get a one-shot game of BASH! going in the near future. Being new to GMing,* I was thinking I'd try to make it slightly easier on myself by picking up a published adventure. I only noticed a couple for sale on DriveThruRPG,—Five Minutes to Midnight and Vengeance Is Nigh—as well as the ones contained in the issues of BAM! Can anyone please recommend which of those (or any that I may not have noticed) would be especially good for my needs?

Thanks!

*I'm currently running a D&D 5e campaign using the starter set, and it's the first game I've ever run.

Five minutes to midnight is pretty good, I used it to introduced my players to BASH. What I like about it is that you have 6 pregens that all have no powers but they are all distinctive. It truly shows the flexibility of the system. Immortal peril is a good one too.

Five Minutes to Midnight is a very grimdark low-powered setting. I really enjoyed creating that module, but it isn't standard 4-color superhero if that is what you are looking for.

For a more Bronze Age feel, you could go with Vengeance is Nigh.

Although for a 1st game one-shot, maybe use the included adventure in the back of the book (2nd Printing). Put the heroes right into the thick of the action by having them fight a giant robot (this can also explain how they come to be a super hero team). Then later they investigate the source of the robot.

Great suggestions, thanks! I'm leaning a little more towards the starter adventure in the rule book (which I'd overlooked due to its only being one page). Is there a particular character scale you'd recommend for it? Would Street Level heroes handle it just fine, or would it be a job more suitable for World Class supers?

Being a lover of the Bronze Age, Vengeance Is Nigh might end up being next if my group decides they like the game (unless, of course, they'd rather go grimdark).

Not to toot my own horn, but one of the short adventure seeds in Adversaries: The Triad (The Demon in the Museum) could be a decent starter adventure.

There is also Viva La GorillaVolution, which I feel would also be a decent starter adventure
